Hi! I'm Julia, and welcome to my personal blog, where there is never a main topic. What you'll find here could range from Game of Thrones gif sets, to feminist rants, to awful text posts I find funny. I'm a political science major, and fan of a wide variety of TV shows and books. I suffer from a chronic illness, self esteem issues, and a bad habit of procrastination. I like Bob Dylan and cooking with my boyfriend, Jaron. I hate 8am classes and The Big Bang Theory. So, I guess, this is me. Welcome!

Remember when Snape made fun of the size of a teenage girls teeth and she subsequently chose to change them so they were permanently smaller? What a hero.

The Sherpas not only do the most difficult labor of fixing ropes, ladders and bridges through the Khumbu Icefall and the most dangerous section of the entire climb, but they have to go through it numerous times, while clients and guides usually go up but once and down but once. And the Sherpas are usually carrying the heaviest loads and thereby moving more slowly and spending more time on each trip in the danger zone carrying oxygen, food, equipment for the, in all too many cases, disdainful foreigner.
